DESCRIPTION:
In response to a shot signal from the injection molding machine, the powder additive (in most cases color) is metered into the free-running main component.
The PROMW POWDER drum dosing device meters powder directly into the feed section of the injection molding machine. It is used to volumetrically dose color to a main material stream.
The device works according to the clock principle. The injection molding machine sends a signal per shot to the dosing device, which adds a preset amount of additive (for example, color).

DESCRIPTION:
Drum dosing device for cyclic dosing of one component into the material flow.
Due to the special geometry of the interchangeable dosing drums and adjustment of the rotational speed, it is possible to dose minute quantities (<0,01g*). Due to the high precision and repeat accuracy, the drum dosing system is perfectly suited to shot-based dosing in micro injection molding/injection molding as well as continuous dosing on extrusion systems. Using a range of drum geometries provides a wide dosing range (approx. <20 g/h to >30 kg/h*).
